ELECTIVES, CROSS-DISCIPLINARY TEACHING
General culture, intercultural openness, knowledge of the major contemporary issues: we do not train high-level executives and future entrepreneurs without integrating these views of the world into the curriculum.
TRAIN OUR EXPERTS IN THEIR ENVIRONMENT
If ultra-competence in the technological field remains a key entry point into large companies today, the ability to place one's action in a social, cultural and international context, the ability to place a problem in a more global context, to integrate the issues, to adapt to the different ways of thinking are the hallmarks of the Grandes Ecoles.
For Epitech, this is a reality that is part of the curriculum, part of the projects and is based, thanks to the elected representatives, on the experience of professionals and men who are authorities in their field.
UNDERSTAND THE WORLD IN ORDER TO ADAPT TO IT
Epitech's mission is to provide sustainable training for its students in an environment of constant change. While the school provides cutting-edge technological training, its role is also to offer students this necessary open-mindedness. To this end, we propose to them, in the form of elective members, an expansion in transversal cultural, economic and international fields.
Students will have to choose 3 elective candidates during their course of study on about ten proposed themes. These electives are structured around various fields such as marketing, personal development, communication, general culture, business, business strategy... so that the school's students can better understand the world, its innovations and changes.
The speakers are undeniable specialists in the subjects they deal with, whether they are business people, columnists, journalists, philosophers or high-level executives. Electives are mobile, evolving over the years, according to the opportunities, encounters, talents that are invited or required. They can register transversely to all the schools on campus or strictly address Epitech students.
This wealth of thinking that we share and that we put at the disposal of the students, is an undisputable advantage linked to the extraordinary diversity of people and talent that bring about the diversity and high level of the schools belonging to the IONIS Group.
